Farmers Market – Vendors

Here are the vendors for week #9 – August 13th


  • Higbee’s Berry Farm and Nursery

    Higbee’s Berry Farm and Nursery is Glenn and Cindy Higbee who operate out of New Ross. They grow strawberries, blueberries, sweet potatoes and haskap berries. They have corn and onions and other crops too. Cindy makes awesome fudge!

  • Odds and Herbs

    In from the Valley with home grown Service/June berries along with Yukon Gold potatoes, peas, carrots, beets, beans and greens!

  • Forties River Farm

    From New Ross with fresh greens, jams, jellies, pickled goods, white and brown bread, veggies, transplants and eggs.


  • Mrs P`s. Home Style Bakery

    Mrs P’s Home Style Bakery offers squares, cookies and oatcakes made the way Mom used to. Seasonal fruit pies too.

  • The Cake Lady Inc

    The Cake Lady offers pretzels, squares, cakes and cookies.

Prepared Foods

  • ACICC Cafe

    The ACICC Cafe brings us organic fair-trade African coffee, from Just Us Coffee of Wolfville. Occasionally Mattias will have ginger juice, sorrel drink and a selection of soft drinks. His menu includes sandwiches, African-style chicken, cod fritters, and such.

  • Stone Poste Cidery

    Stone Poste Cidery products are not for the faint, nor the junior set. These hard ciders have some tooth!

  • Char’s Country Dips and Seasonings

     Char’s Country Dips and Seasonings offers herbs and spices in blends for dips, popcorn, rubs and just seasonings for meats on the ‘que.

  • Hibiscus Specialty Foods

    Hibiscus Specialty Foods offers Caribbean piquancy that speak of Shelley’s lifestyle. Tomato based chutnies and other preserves serve to enliven a meal.


  • Lodestone Soap Co.

    Promoting the use of natural skin care through gentle cleansing of cold processed soaps. All of our products are cured at least 45 days prior to sale. Pthalate-free, vegan and free from dyes, artificial perfume or fragrance oils.

  • Two Brooksiders

    Fine quality leathercraft.

  • 7th Chakra

    At 7th Chakra Designs, Patti is a fibre artist who does mindful and useful accessories for the yogi in you. Bolsters, pillows and yoga bags are a specialty. Watch for her launch of new market bags as well. Sure to be richly quilted and of sturdy construction.

  • SO Glass

    A family team, Suzanne is a glass artist and a fibre artist, while Oren creates wood turned items for decor and home use.

  • Four Seasons Crafter

    Four Seasons Crafters are a group of friends and family known to the Prospect communities. Jane Stewart is from the area and is involved in the annual Craft Sale here at the centre. As part of Four Seasons, she makes doll clothes. We can expect to see seasonal items and tole painting too.

  • Martin Creation

    An artist who works in clay, Sarah is also inspired by the ocean. Her creations are both functional and beautiful.
