Prospect Village Ghost Walk

Prospect Players are an informally organized group of theatre aficionados. Plays, variety shows, storytelling, puppet shows, concerts and most other types of performances have been popular in Prospect as long as The Village has existed.  These have brought Prospecters, neighbouring community members and people from away to a small community and created a family of those who enjoy community theatre.

Community theatre offers the audience an opportunity to look beyond their lives, to visit unexpected places, to laugh, to cry, to ponder and to imagine.  It offers the participants an opportunity to unleash their artistic spirit in creating a work of art for the enjoyment of others, as well as for themselves. At the end of each production, the cast and crew emerge with a new bank of friends, experiences, memories and desires.

This fall, Prospect Players are presenting a performance with a bit of a different flavour from past productions. The Prospect Village Ghost Walk happens on September 8 and 9, at the corner of Prospect Bay Road and Cove Road from 7:00-9:00. It is staged under the evening and night sky, and proceeds along a comfortable walking route to various locations where you will hear history, haunting, horror and humour.

Tickets are available at the performance for $10. Dress for a cool evening. Wear comfy shoes. Bring a flashlight. Performances are “weather permitting”. If in doubt, or if you have questions, contact us through email or our website for updates. Come join the fun!
